We have achieved some great results including acquiring Shell’s Aviation business; introducing a market-leading logistics scheduling tool; building the largest crude oil tank in Australia; launching Shell V-Power Diesel, and implemented a variety of projects to maintain and modernise our Geelong refinery.

We are proud of our commitment to our local communities where we are working to create positive social change in the areas of mental health, Indigenous participation and substance misuse.

Supporting our communities

We partner with a number of community organisations who are also making a real difference. Working with our community partners creates fantastic opportunities for people from across our organisation to have a social impact both within and outside work.

5 Steps to a new career

Know what to expect

1. APPLY
Once you submit your job application we’ll send you an email to let you know it arrived safely. You can track your application through your online account.

2. FOLLOW-UP
From the shortlist we may conduct video screenings or phone calls so we can get to know each other better. This is a great opportunity for you to meet your line manager and hear more about the role, because it’s important that you get to know us, too.

We then select the people we’d like to see face-to-face for an interview.

3.采访
The interview will typically be with the line manager and a member of the HR team. They’ll be looking for the competencies required for the role, and the behaviours and values we all live by at Viva Energy.

4. FOLLOW-UP
For some roles, we may set up a second interview or get you to meet with other members of the team you would be working with.

Some roles may also require a few more checks and assessments, such as online ability and personality assessments and reference and qualification checks. You’ll be informed at every step about your progress.

5. OFFER
We’ll make a verbal job offer while the contract is being prepare. The offer may be conditional if checks need to be completed, but we’ll let you know once it’s all clear.
