- The biggest misconceptionpeople have about my role is the technical knowledge required. People assume business deals are made at procurement level but the reality is the key decision makers are the engineers who tend to see any change as risky. I enjoy learning about our customer’s equipment and their operations from a technical perspective and providing them with advice that ensures the risk of change is minimised.

- The most interesting thingI am working on right now is a lubricants product trial with some of our customers, where we are aiming to double the life of the oil in their equipment, which could save our customers a significant amount of money each year.
